FAST Swim Program
Affordable lessons. Nationwide instructor certs. For swim instructors: water safety that holds up.
FAST (Flotation Aided Swim Training) is an accredited water-safety program verified as equivalent to a nationally recognized aquatic standard.
Florida Department of Health–approved instructor course. In New Jersey, FAST is one of only three accepted issuers of the Swim Instructor / Safety Instructor certificate under NJAC 6A:9B-11.10 — the same list as the American Red Cross and the YMCA.
Get certified. Teach. Swim. Become a Swim Instructor or CPR trainer through a credited pathway: online assessments + one in-person day.

Certification Process
We use a blended format that combines our online self-paced course and a 4-hour pool practical.
Along the way, you will have access to your instructor and the rest of our team to answer questions and provide support.

Our new FAST Swim Stars program certifies disadvantaged teens as Swim Safety Instructors and then hires them to teach swim lessons to participants.
